Pride in Tanzania. Resolute is currently engaged in the US$120 million
re-development of the Syama Gold Project in Mali, West Africa.

Africa
Our obligation to the African nations in which we operate requires, as
a minimum, that all non-supervisory blue-collar, semi and unskilled
positions are filled by local Nationals.
Positions available for expatriate personnel are
limited to those roles that are not readily sourced in these nations,
for one reason or another. A part of our obligation is to train and
provide experience for local National personnel, so that they may
progressively and ultimately replace elements of our expatriate
workforce.
Presently, key mine management, mining
and processing technical roles, including key maintenance supervision,
and key accounting and supply positions are filled by expatriate
personnel.
